This project aims to handle the problem of energy-aware key management in mobile wireless sensor networks, especially focuses on the security and energy efficiency aspects of key management mechanisms which will be of significant values for future mobile wireless sensor networks. The first part of this project investigate the mathematic models that can be used to analyze and evaluate the security and efficiency issues within mobile wireless sensor networks, while the second part focuses on the development of a range of different key management mechanisms with desirable properties that can be employed in mobile wireless sensor networks.
