Dr.-Ing. Tolga Arul
Current Activities
I am currently a postdoctoral researcher with the Chair of Computer Engineering at the University of Passau. I received my Ph.D. degree in computer science from the Technical University Darmstadt in 2016 and previously worked there as a research associate in the Integrated Circuits and Systems Lab and as a postdoctoral researcher in the Security Engineering Group. In 2009, I joined the Center for Advanced Security Research Darmstadt (CASED) and in 2012 the National Research Center for Applied Cybersecurity (CRISP-DA) as a research associate in the field of cyber-physical systems security. In addition to my teaching activities at the University of Passau and the Turkish–German University in Istanbul, I am involved in the research projects PUFMem and NANOSEC. Previously, I have successfully participated in the research projects Haselnuss, Cysis and PUFFIN.
