Information on the 2025 university elections

Just like last year, the upcoming 2025 university elections will be held digitally, meaning that voters will be able to cast their ballots exclusively online between 12:00 on 3 July 2024 and 12:00 on 16 July 2025.

To bring you up to date on new developments in the roll-out of the online voting system, we are planning to offer an information session on Stud.IP in mid-May. Additionally, we are planning to conduct a trial run for the election with representatives from the University’s member groups. We will inform you about this in good time.

Here is an overview of the main deadlines:

Nominations can be submitted from 25 April 2025 to 9 May 2025, 16:00, in the Elections Office
The last date for announcement of the approved nominations is 18 June 2025
Display of the electoral register on 2 June, 3 June and 4 June 2025 at the Elections Office
Closure of the electoral register on 5 June 2025
The voting period is from 12:00 on 3 July 2025 to 12:00 on 16 July 2025
